#Valley arts guitar serial numbers modDon't quote me on this, but I think the garage doors included in the mod are extensible, i.e. Besides, some of them also work in some really special and different ways from the standard ones. ![]() Doors now have a little smoother looking design with new animations and better aesthetic. It brings a large number of new doors to the world of Minecraft. Hey, I'm about the same age as David Coverdale and David Lee Roth. The Malisis Doors Mod is a useful mod that changes the appearance of doors. ![]() Valley Arts never made many 5-stringers in the first Yours looks quite kewl, but I still prefer the original sunburst paint & gilded(!) metalware. The original retail price was admittedly way less, but despite the botch job on the electronics, it still was a real steal. #Valley arts guitar serial numbers modsBut even without my mods I think it's at least worth half that. I wouldn't part from mine for anything under 2000 euro (that's about $3,000 in Ussian currency) and that's just my hock price if I really needed the money. I've owned many basses over the years, including an early Fender Jazz Bass and several 5-string instruments (I like the extra depth, and besides, it makes you the deepest instrument in any orchestra as long as there's no church organ around), but this one still is my absolute all-time favourite. With them, it plays anything from blues and reggae to Goth rock and death metal, with The Stranglers and Beethoven along the way.ħ5 bucks for a bass like this sounds to me utterly ridiculous. They play like a breeze, with a deep and mellow sound that however can be quite crisp and aggressive too. I still intend to replace the jack socket with an XLR phantom power socket (I hate changing batteries, especially if it means unscrewing the back plate, so adding an actual flip-top battery compartment is one of the first mods for any instrument of mine), but I haven't been on stage for some years now (I played mainly from the early 70s to halfway the nineties I'm just an amateur now), so that won't probably happen anywhere soon.Īs for the strings, I mounted Rotosound soft-action Jass Bass 77 flatwound strings. I've changed the pickups and trimpots for quality ones, and I've replaced the original three-transistor electronics with a low-noise op-amp based pre-amp with active tone control. The instrument itself is still an original Valley Arts and quite excellent, but the electronics were of Korean make and not all that good. A relatively large number of these seem to have wound up in Holland.Īs for mine, I made a few modifications over the years. However with the takeover came a few instruments already halfway in production (Valley Arts had already outsourced part of their woodworking to the Gibson factories), so they finished these as best they could and sold them off cheaply. Samick never included this model in their own line, as they bought a brand name, not an actual company (since most of it had burned down at the time). #Valley arts guitar serial numbers proAs I understand it, Samick Valley Arts Custom Pro 5-string basses are quite rare. I've owned one of these for about 20 years now. Just stumbled upon this thread while Googling for pics. My question of course is can help me out and give me their opinion how much i should charge for it? I asked him to snap some new pics, I will put them up asap. I have a couple of pictures (unfortunately of the worst quality) which you can find through the links. Now I don't want to rip off my friend, but of course I don't want to rip off myself either. I really don't know wether to ask 50 or 500 euro's (or dollars) for it. The problem is that neither he or me has any clue about how much he should pay for this bass. I borrowed this bass to a friend, who may want to buy it off me. The body is some kind of honey/flame/burst color (sorry i'm not an expert on the terminology) with a ivory-colored edge all around. It has active elements, and it played very nice. On the head it says concept & design by custom pro shop Valley Arts. Sometime around 1997 I bought a 5 string Samick. ![]()
